Learn About the Ins and Outs of the DEA at Washington, DC’s DEA Museum and Visitor Center

January 11, 2017

The greater Washington D.C. metro area seems to have a museum for just about everything, and the DEA is no exception. If you find yourself in Alexandria and looking for a hefty dose of niche American history, check out the DEA Museum and Visitor Center. Located just half a mile from Instrata Pentagon City apartments, the DEA Museum educates people on the history of the Drug Enforcement Administration and drug addiction in America.

The exhibits focus on all parts of drug history, including illegal drugs, prescription addiction and modern drug production. Admission to the museum is completely free of charge. You don’t have to plan to spend a ton of time at the museum, as the collections are small; most guests report that they can get through the entire museum in approximately one hour.

The DEA Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
