Don’t Miss the Nutella Pop-Tart at Northside Social Coffee & Wine
August 3, 2020In recent months, Northside Social Coffee & Wine, the popular cafe and wine bar in Clarendon, has had to adapt a little, and now this local favorite is back (whimsically rebranded as “Northside Social Distancing”), serving food and drink daily from 7 a.m. until late into the evening.
The spacious patio area has been reconfigured to accommodate in-person dining, and the mobile app and website have been streamlined to encourage pre-ordering and contactless payment–both of which should reduce wait times. Coffee and pastries are always in demand, with the Nutella poptart and the classic butter croissant especially so. Breakfast items like the poached egg sandwich and avocado toast are also hot tickets. Standout items on the lunch menu include both crispy pork belly and smoked salmon sandwiches, while cheese platters are popular well into the afternoon evening.
