Experience a True Taste of Italy at Lupo Marino

September 28, 2018

Newly opened on The Wharf, Lupo Marino specializes in authentic, rustic Italian fare featuring a variety of small plates, house-made breads and pastas, and thin-crust pizza. Since the eatery is situated on the water, the menu is casual and seafood-centric with dishes like Tagliatelle with blue crab and calabrian chile and a Tuna Panini spread with roasted red pepper relish and lemon aioli. Other popular entrees include a 14-ounce New York strip with anchovy butter and a half Cornish hen with braised escarole. The wine list is exclusively Italian, with 54 bottles in addition to an extensive collection of sparkling vino.

Customers can also purchase specialty items, including 50 cheeses (five of which are made in-house, while the rest are made from local farmers or imported from Italy) sold by the ounce, house cured meats, fresh and dried house-made pasta, and sauces and breads. The 100-seat restaurant is spread over two floors and is filled with Italian tiles and marble and boasts a custom Italian-made pizza oven.
