Contemporary Seafood and Cocktails Await at Hank’s Oyster Bar

May 31, 2018

Chef Jamie Leeds opened the first Hank's Oyster Bar in 2005 as an homage to her father Hank, the man who inspired her to become a professional chef. In the years since, Hank's has racked up accolades from Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, and The Washington Post, among many other local and national publications.

Since Chef Jamie debuted a new branch of Hank's at The Wharf about three months ago, you can experience her "urban beach food" without leaving the neighborhood. Come for happy hour (from 4 to 7 p.m. seven days a week) to try a few small plates and grab a cocktail or two. Try the lobster deviled eggs, the Hog Island barbecue oysters, and the popcorn shrimp and calamari with the Hanky Panky, a fizzy cocktail of Absolut Citron Vodka and limoncello.
