This old-fashioned candy shop and restaurant opened its doors in Arlington's Pentagon City Mall just a couple of months ago, and it's already drawing crowds. You can browse the bulk candy bins for your favorite sweets (Yelpers suggest you try the fruit sours, which come in about a dozen different mouth-puckering flavors), or take a seat at the soda fountain, where you can order everything from towering hot fudge sundaes to juicy burgers and crispy golden fries. Sugar Factory is happy to host birthday parties, too, so keep this place in mind next time you want to plan something special for the little ones.
