Tee Off This Summer at the East Potomac Golf Course

June 2, 2020

At long last, golf courses in the DC area are beginning to open again. That means East Potomac Golf Course, the scenic public course on Hains Point Island, is getting back into the swing of things. With two nine-hole courses and a full eighteen-hole course, East Potomac appeals to golfers of all different levels of ability and experience.

The Red Course is a nine-hole par 27 that measures just over 1100 yards in length, making it appealing to beginners or those working on their short game. The nine-hole White course is 2400 yards, featuring plenty of par 4’s and family tee boxes to allow foursomes of mixed ages and abilities. The par 72 Blue course includes 18 holes over 6500 yards, and offers beautiful vistas of DC attractions in addition to its challenging play. Other on-site attractions include a roofed, heated and lighted self-service driving range, practice holes, mini-golf and footgolf.
