What Do You Think of the Housemade Sauces at Sloppy Mama’s?
October 25, 2019Sloppy Mama’s opened its doors in July to rave reviews and the kudos just keep coming for this new Arlington barbecue joint. It’s located in an old Pizza Hut building surrounded by custom smokers in the parking lot, and Yelpers say you know this place is the real deal because you can watch the staff feed the fire with real hickory logs while the grill master attends to each piece of meat until it’s done to perfection.
Your order is served hot off the grill, along with your choice of savory sides. Tender, juicy brisket is a customer favorite (try yours with a side of mac and cheese and some collard greens) as are the slow-smoked ribs, available in half and full racks (they go well with corn bread and coleslaw). Finally, don’t forget to sample the house-made sauces, ranging from Georgia mustard, to Alabama white, to classic sweet-chili sauce.
