Want to Get Outside Near Instrata Pentagon City? Watch the Planes at Gravelly Point

While the DC area is filled with quite a few beautiful public parks, Gravelly Point has something that no other park in the city has: airplanes! This public park, which is just moments from Instrata Pentagon City, is located right next to the DCA airport, which gives visitors a chance to watch the planes take off while walking or relaxing nearby.

If you’re more interested in exercise, the park is also located along the Mt. Vernon Trail, which makes a great place to walk, run, or ride bikes along the water. There are a few picnic tables throughout Gravelly Point that create relaxing spots for having lunch al fresco under the exciting airplanes, as well as spacious fields that are often filled with pick-up games of soccer or kickball.
