June 30, 2017

Learn about the history of the Drug Enforcement Administration and its impact on drug addiction at the DEA Museum. Located in Arlington, Virginia near Pentagon City, the DEA Museum aims to educate the public on the history of drug enforcement and its evolution through the years.

Exhibits on display include Illegal Drugs in America, Good Medicine/Bad Behavior, and Drugs: Costs and Consequences. There are also virtual exhibits on nature’s addictive plant-based drugs, the history of the DEA and the DEA’s enforcement tools on land, air and sea. The museum develops and sponsors traveling exhibits for display around the U.S. and in other countries as well. It's a fairly small museum that makes a fun afternoon activity.

The DEA Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
